Deepak (Veerang) is a seasoned Lead Auditor and Industry Trainer with over a decade of progressive experience across Industrial Operations, Quality Management, Manufacturing, and Project Management in the engineering and automotive sectors.

​

As a certified Lead Auditor, Deepak specializes in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001 standards. He conducts both external and internal audits, ensuring organizations achieve and maintain compliance with international standards and customer-specific requirements—particularly within the automotive supply chain.

In his role as a professional trainer, Deepak delivers industry-recognized Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor programs, along with corporate training in Quality Systems, Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement, and Core Tools. His engaging and pragmatic approach bridges theory with real-world industry applications.

Deepak’s career includes significant contributions to project and program launches for Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive manufacturing suppliers, supporting OEM initiatives with a focus on operational excellence and robust Quality Management Systems. His expertise extends to implementing and auditing World-Class Manufacturing (WCM), Total Quality Management (TQM), and Layered Process Audit (LPA) systems, ensuring alignment with OEM and regulatory expectations.

Academically, Deepak holds a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering from North America and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai, one of India’s premier institutions. His academic foundation is complemented by professional certifications and advanced training in Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC), CQI standards, and OEM Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR).

Deepak’s professional journey began with hands-on engineering internships and co-op programs, followed by key leadership roles in his family’s manufacturing enterprise in India, where he successfully expanded operations catering to the automotive, switchgear, and electrical industries. His diverse background encompasses Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Leadership, and Continuous Improvement across global Tier One organizations.

A strong advocate for professional development and community engagement, Deepak actively volunteers with AIAG, SAE, the University of Windsor, and the City of Windsor, contributing his expertise to both industry and local initiatives.
